Motion data can be used to identify
In an on-going project, the VME is being implemented into hand-held consumer devices for a Fortune 500 company.
The motion data from these devices are used to identify user-behaviour such as number of pick-ups, number of place-downs, micro-tremors, etc.
This data can then be used to garner further insights for feature-engineering, design flaw identification, user sentiment analysis, etc.
The VME accelerated the time taken to demonstrate a Proof-of-concept & enabled better research. It enabled high-resolution, filtered, IMU samples to be easily collected & analysed. It also allowed for training of models to identify different user actions with minimal battery life.
